Spirit Train Anjean gives you the Spirit Train when you complete the first level of the Tower of Spirits. It is the most basic train, for now only having two cars, the engine and the passenger car.   1. Enter the fight with the Demon Train.
  2. During the first or second stages of the fight, just before destroying the last barrel or laser, switch tracks from one of the middle two to one of the outside two.

The portal will still appear in the middle, but during the cut-scene the Spirit Train will change to the outside track and drive straight past the portal! Then it will keep going until it falls off the end of the track, resulting in a Game Over. Since controls are disabled after defeating each section of the Demon Train, nothing can be done about this, except simply remembering not to switch tracks immediately before beating the first or second sections!
